Valuations for Sale at Auction
We are happy to offer an appraisal service for items that you are considering selling. This can take place by appointment at our offices, or arrangements can be made to visit clients at their homes. This is a free service.

Insurance Valuations
Insurance companies are becoming increasingly concerned over settling insurance claims without proof of value and ownership.

In the event of a loss, either by theft or fire, a detailed inventory & valuation will enable the loss adjustors & insurance company to settle matters quickly & efficiently.

This service can be tailored to meet individual requirements ranging from the valuation of selected items to a complete house contents.

Inheritance Tax
This involves the appraisal of effects to satisfy the requirements of probate law.

As with insurance valuations, we prepare a detailed inventory & valuation, highlighting items of importance and specific bequests.

In the event of executors or beneficiaries wanting to dispose of items from the estate, then our auction rooms provide a complete service. This involves arranging for collection of the items, entering them in the appropriate sale and accounting to the executors after the sale.

Sale by Private Treaty
We will advise on the private sale of individual items or entire collections, and if required negotiate with the prospective purchaser on behalf of the vendor.
